SoWine - Preserve and Serve 2 Open Bottles
The SoWine Bar from EuroCave is the first of its kind. A unique 2 bottle preservation and service unit allowing you to keep opened wine for up to 7 days. The temperature in each compartment of the SoWine can be independently selected, meaning the wine is at the perfect serving temperature (factory set to 9 for white and 17 for red) when you remove the bottle for drinking. You can have either two bottles of red, or 2 bottles of white or one of each, preserved and ready to serve. It takes at least 3 hours to reach the desired serving temperature for open or unopened wine. The unit will not warm up cool wine. It can only cool wine down.

The push down pump seals the open bottle, ensuring the perfect vacuum to slow the further oxidation of the wine. Simply open the door and the pump raises up to its starting position.

minimum height: 292mm
maximum height: 336mm

There are over 300 different bottle sizes and shapes in use for wine. The 80:20 rule generally applies, in that 80% of the market uses about 20% of the sizes and shapes available.

Nevertheless, the Sowine is designed for the most popular bottle sizes and shapes. Certain oversized/unusual bottles may not be vacuum sealed. They can still be held at the right temperature inside the chamber.

Please note the height restrictions above and also note that the Sowine cannot work with Alsace flute bottles (due to the taper of the neck), or the odd screwcap bottle with larger than standard openings (again few and far between).
