Riedel Sommeliers Tinto Reserva

Riedel presents the first wine glass for one of the Iberian penninsula greatest and most idiosyncratic grape, the Tempranillo. Dominating wines from Rioja and Ribera del Duero, Tempranillo also known as Tinto Roriz and Aragnez also commonly features in many of the DO wines of Spain. Tastings were conducted by leading Spanish wine makers initally using the Hermitage glass, all agreeing that the wider bottom and narrower mouth showed the wine in the best light. The smaller Vinum Tempranillo is most suitable for young bright Tempranillo based wine, whilst the larger yet identical shaped Sommeliers Tinto Riserva has been developed to best show the grander, top oak aged complex tannic wines of the Gran Reservas and top cuvees of Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Castilla Y Leon and across Spain. 4400/31, 248mm tall
